THE GUY IN THEPLAID VEST
Magician, goofball, and professional kid-wrangler. Brettso has spent 10 years turning birthday parties, classrooms and community events across Orange County into the best day ever.
How It All Started
Like a lot of magicians, it started with one show. I was a kid in the audience, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how that magician made the whole room laugh at the same time. I went home and started practicing on anyone who would sit still.
Ten years into performing professionally, I’ve had the honor of performing at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and being recognized as an award-winning magician by my peers. But my favorite audience is still a room full of kids.
Today I perform over 200 shows a year for birthday parties, preschools, schools, libraries and family events across Orange County and Los Angeles. My favorite part hasn’t changed: the moment the whole room gasps at once.
